Gaming is meant to be fun — not stressful. Sportradar wants you to enjoy every moment and play within your own limits. Everything you need — tools and information — is right here.
Safe Gaming
Responsible gaming at Sportradar is more than a page or a set of rules — it is a core part of our platform's culture. We believe gaming should be a source of entertainment, not a way to escape life's problems.
Responsible gaming means knowing your limits — in time, money, and mental energy — and playing within them. Losing occasionally is normal, but continually chasing losses with bigger bets is a warning sign.
Sportradar encourages every member to regularly reflect on their gaming habits. Use the tools on this page — completely free, and entirely for your own benefit.
Set your actual limit from Account Settings. Once lowered, it cannot be increased for 24 hours.
If any of these sound familiar, seek help now
Betting with money set aside for rent or food is the clearest sign that something is wrong.
"One more win and everything will be fine" — this thinking is a sign of addiction.
If you feel the need to hide how long you have been playing or how much you have spent, that is a sign something is wrong.
Feeling irritable or restless after just one day without playing is a sign of dependency.
Be cautious if gaming is taking priority over work, studies, or family responsibilities.
Staying up late to game, or losing sleep due to worries about gaming, are serious warning signs.

What You Can Do to Protect Family Members
Sportradar is strictly for users aged 18 and above. However, if you notice signs of gaming addiction in a family member, you can help.
Start by having an open, non-judgmental conversation. Try a gentle approach such as: "You've been spending a lot of time gaming — is it something you enjoy, or is it stressing you out?"
If a family member is unable to set their own limits on Sportradar, accompany them in reaching out to the support team. Sportradar can add extra protections to an account upon request from a family member.
Most importantly — addiction is not a moral failing; it is a health condition. With the right support, recovery is possible.
